Pulwama Terror Attack: T-Series Pulls Down All Pakistani Songs From Their YouTube Channel; MNS Issues Warning
While Bollywood stars are doing their bit, in the wake of the deadly Pulwama Terror attack, music label T-Series has pulled down all Pakistani songs from their YouTube channel. Recently, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s new single, Baarishein released on the music company’s YouTube channel, which had also collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on a different single. Now, the channel has removed both songs.

Meanwhile, a source informed a section of media, “T-Series had uploaded Atif's and Rahat Saab's single a day before but as soon as the news came, label decided to remove the videos, looking at the situation. Whatever happened with our soldiers is horrible and the label condemns the act and it was their way to show support. The music label has stopped all promotions for those songs as soon as the news came.”

Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Saturday asked all the music companies to stop working with Pakistani artists. “We have verbally communicated to Indian music companies like T-Series, Sony Music, Venus, Tips Music etc to not work with Pakistani singers. These companies should stop it immediately or we will take action in our own style,” Amey Khopkar, head of the MNS Chitrapat Sena told PTI.

A few minutes back, we told you how Amitabh Bachchan has come forward to donate Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the martyrs. Also, a day back, Shabana Azmi tweeted about ban on the cultural exchange between the two countries and had also cancelled two-day literary event to honour her father, Kaifi Amzi, in Karachi, Pakistan. She wrote, “#Pulwama attack There is no way we can carry on with cultural exchanges between India and Pakistan even as our martyrs are laying down their lives for us. I stand in solidarity with the grieving families.”

Not very happy about Shabana-Javed organizing an event in Karachi, at the first place, Kangana Ranaut had lashed out at Azmi and said, “People like Shabana Azmi calling for halt on cultural exchange -- they are the ones who promote Bharat Tere Tukde Honge gangs... why did they organise an event in Karachi in the first place when Pakistani artistes have been banned after Uri attacks? And now they are trying to save face? The film industry is full of such anti-nationals who boost enemies' morals in many ways, but right now is the time to focus on decisive actions... Pakistan ban is not the focus, Pakistan destruction is."
